The second turn of the Second Coil features Melusine, a lamia boss with petrification mechanics and multiple add phases.

Cursed Voice Strategy

  • Three players receive the debuff
  • When it expires, a frontal cone of white smog fires
  • Move to arena edge and face away from raid
  • Stay positioned until debuff wears off

Cursed Shriek Strategy

  • One player receives the debuff
  • They will petrify everyone who can see them
  • Move to the back of the arena near the Renauds
  • Position outside hitboxes and away from other players’ line of sight

Phase 1 (100% - 80%)

  • Attack Melusine directly
  • Handle Cursed Voice and Cursed Shriek mechanics

Final Phase Strategy:

  • Let the first Petrification cast finish
  • Use Limit Break to quickly defeat the Prosecutor
  • After Prosecutor dies, Melusine gains Petrification
  • Look away during her Petrification casts and burn her down

Notes:

  • Gaze mechanics are the primary wipe cause - always watch debuffs
  • Resume attacking Circle Blade once the visual circle disappears (delayed animation)
  • Coordinate add priorities across phases
