Omega: Deltascape V4.0
The fourth and final floor of Omega: Deltascape featuring Exdeath, the warlock from Final Fantasy V who wields the power of the Void.
Exdeath
A powerful mage with two distinct phases, using Void-enhanced versions of elemental spells.
Phase 1
The boss can absorb energy from the Void behind him, changing spell effects.
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Doom | Raidwide | Debuff on marked players - healers must dispel or players die |
| Thunder III | Tankbuster | Tank buster with circular AoE - tank swap at 2 stacks of Lightning Resist Down |
| Void Thunder III | AoE | Point blank AoE applying Paralysis - move away from boss |
| Blizzard III | Spread | Spreads puddle AoEs on marked players - spread apart |
| Void Blizzard III | Raidwide | Raid-wide AoE that freezes stationary players - keep moving |
| Fire III | AoE | Marks players to drop puddles - place away from group |
| Void Fire III | Raidwide | Raid-wide damage applying Pyretic - stand completely still |
| Holy | Stack | All players stack together to share damage |
| Vacuum Wave | Knockback | Raid-wide damage with knockback (no edge danger in Phase 1) |
Phase 2 (Transition)
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Big Bang | AoE | Boss disappears, bomb spawns center - all players spread to edges |
| Neo Exdeath | Cleave | Giant head erupts with large conal AoE - position behind it |
Phase 3
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Flare | Spread | Marks 3 players with large AoEs - spread far apart |
| Meteor | Raidwide | Dropped at arena center - use cooldowns and heavy healing |
| Black Hole | AoE | Orbs spawn around arena - avoid contact |
| Vacuum Wave | Knockback | Now can knock players off the edge - stay toward center |
Strategy:
- Watch for Void absorption animation to predict spell variants
- Tank swap at 2 stacks of Lightning Resist Down during Thunder III
- Healers must cleanse Doom quickly
- For Void Fire III (Pyretic), stop all actions including movement
- In Phase 3, stay near center to avoid Vacuum Wave edge deaths
Notes: The key is recognizing normal vs Void spell variants. Void Blizzard requires movement while Void Fire requires stillness - getting these confused is deadly.
