Eden's Verse: Furor
The second floor of Eden’s Verse features a multi-phase encounter against Garuda, Ifrit, and their fusion Raktapaksa. Each primal brings distinct mechanics that combine in later phases.
Garuda Phase
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Superstorm | Raidwide | Party-wide AoE damage |
| Ferostorm | AoE | Blue pillars with cone AoEs away from Garuda - position safely |
| Air Bump | Stack | Two-player stack mechanic - pair up or get stunned |
| Thorns | AoE | Ground AoE following Air Bump - move away if you have vulnerability |
| Storm of Fury | Cleave | Blue lines target two players with conal AoEs - spread apart |
| Vacuum Slice | AoE | Red AoE across arena center creates void zones |
| Occluded Front | AoE | Six bombs pushed toward void zone - stand between, then move away |
Ifrit Phase
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Inferno Howl | Raidwide | Party-wide fire damage |
| Eruption | AoE | Ground-targeted fire explosions - keep moving |
| Radiant Plume | AoE | Large fire AoEs appear - dodge to safe zones |
| Incinerate | Tankbuster | Fire tankbuster - mitigate and heal |
| Hands of Flame | Spread | Fire markers on players - spread to avoid overlap |
| Hands of Hell | AoE | Chase AoEs that follow players - kite away |
| Strike Spark | AoE | Ifrit dashes and leaves fire trails |
Combined Phase (Garuda & Ifrit)
Both primals attack simultaneously with overlapping mechanics from their individual phases.
Raktapaksa
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Conflag Strike | Tankbuster | Combined primal tankbuster |
| Air Bump + Eruption | Stack | Stack mechanic with fire AoEs - stack then move |
| Ferostorm + Radiant | AoE | Combined wind and fire patterns - find safe spots |
Strategy:
- During Garuda phase, watch for pillar positions and Vacuum Slice safe zones
- For Air Bump, always have at least two players stacking to avoid stun
- In Ifrit phase, keep moving for Eruption and spread for Hands of Flame
- The combined phase requires handling both sets of mechanics simultaneously
- Raktapaksa combines elements from both primals - adapt quickly
Notes: This fight is arena-positioning heavy. Watch mechanics rather than cast bars for many abilities.
