Shadow Mechanics

Shadow Implosion: The key mechanic of this fight.

  • Boss casts Forward or Backward Implosion
  • Mid-cast, transforms into a shadow and may change position
  • The attack originates from the shadow’s position, not the original
  • Wait in the middle until shadow appears, then move to safety

Shadow Warrior:

  • Three clones spawn, one tethered to boss
  • Clones shift positions and tether disappears
  • Track which clone was originally tethered
  • Position behind that specific clone - they perform large conal AoEs

Strategy:

  • Stay center initially to react to directional attacks
  • For Shadow Implosions, don’t move until you see where the shadow appears
  • During Shadow Warrior, identify the tethered clone before it untethers
  • Fade to Shadow requires moving to the add-free corner
  • React time is limited - learn patterns quickly

Notes: Shadow spells always originate from the shadow’s position. This concept is central to all mechanics in this encounter.
