Shadow Mechanics
Shadow Implosion: The key mechanic of this fight.
- Boss casts Forward or Backward Implosion
- Mid-cast, transforms into a shadow and may change position
- The attack originates from the shadow’s position, not the original
- Wait in the middle until shadow appears, then move to safety
Shadow Warrior:
- Three clones spawn, one tethered to boss
- Clones shift positions and tether disappears
- Track which clone was originally tethered
- Position behind that specific clone - they perform large conal AoEs
Strategy:
- Stay center initially to react to directional attacks
- For Shadow Implosions, don’t move until you see where the shadow appears
- During Shadow Warrior, identify the tethered clone before it untethers
- Fade to Shadow requires moving to the add-free corner
- React time is limited - learn patterns quickly
Notes: Shadow spells always originate from the shadow’s position. This concept is central to all mechanics in this encounter.
