Eden's Gate: Inundation
The third floor of Eden’s Gate features a reimagined Leviathan encounter, summoned through the party’s memories to restore the water element. The fight takes place on a dynamic platform with water mechanics.
Leviathan
| Mechanic | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Rip Current | Tankbuster | Cleaving tankbuster with vulnerability - face away from party |
| Tidal Roar | Raidwide | Raid-wide water damage - heal and shield |
| Tidal Wave | Knockback | Waterfall destroys east/west arena sections - move north |
| Undersea Quake | AoE | Ground AoE following Tidal Wave - stay in safe zones |
| Temporary Current | AoE | Diagonal AoE covering most of arena - position opposite Leviathan’s head |
| Drenching Pulse | AoE | Baited AoE on every player - stack center at max melee range |
| Freak Wave | Spread | Circle AoE on each player - spread to pre-assigned positions |
| Maelstrom | AoE | Puddles that expand and deal heavy damage - avoid pools |
| Spinning Dive | AoE | Leviathan charges across arena - dodge the path |
| Surging Tsunami | Knockback | Knockback from arena edge - position accordingly |
Strategy:
- Pre-assign tank positions for Rip Current (east or west)
- Split into light parties: one healer, one tank, two DPS per side
- For Temporary Current, watch where Leviathan’s head appears and stand opposite
- Stack center for Drenching Pulse, then spread for Freak Wave
- During Maelstrom, avoid expanding puddles while handling other mechanics
Notes: This fight introduces split-party mechanics that become more common in later Eden tiers. Coordination between healers for cross-party healing can help during intense phases.
